About Me
What Matters Most to Me
Whether raising my own children, teaching classes, facilitating healing and growth as a therapist, or mentoring professionals I have always been interested in how humans learn and evolve. After decades of personal and professional development, here is what I know thus far…
1) Pain is inevitable. It is our response to it that matters most.
2) Uncertainty is a necessary part of life. It challenges us to grow past our self-limiting beliefs.
3) Vulnerability leads to connection and belonging.
4) Creativity is benevolent.
Passion. Creativity. Service.
As an educator with over 15 years experience, I have had the joy and honor to develop curriculum for learners of all ages, teach art classes in a variety of settings, lead 100’s of groups of all sizes, and work with 1000’s of individual clients to co-create innovative learning plans to achieve their goals.
I have volunteered with some of the most devoted service organizations and met amazing humans, doing amazing things in this sometimes very difficult world. I have created many works of art and have even painted a mural with an artist with whom I could not verbally communicate (neither one of us spoke each other’s language).
The thread through all my personal and professional experiences has been service and creativity.
